Thermal imaging can help outdoor hunting enthusiasts get twice the result with half the effort

As an exciting and avant-garde outdoor sport, outdoor adventure is gradually becoming more popular.

Ordinary travel can no longer satisfy people's curiosity. Many enthusiasts choose to hunt at night, because there are many kinds of animals traveling at night, and it is full of fun and challenges. However, the primitive forest environment is dangerous and often hides many unknown dangers. Many animals have natural protective colors or are small in size. In addition, the visibility at night is low and the recognition is not high. It is difficult to find the target well through optical equipment. In addition, when encountering wild animals, close observation will disturb the animals and lack of guarantee for their own safety. Thermal imagers are completely the nemesis of the night.

Every autumn when the leaves fall and the grass dries up, the animals hidden in the deep mountains and old forests begin to come out to forage and stretch their muscles. This is undoubtedly a great joy for players who like outdoor hunting. However, the prey itself is a very spiritual animal. As long as they sense a little danger, they will run away without hesitation, so this is a test of the hunters' skills and auxiliary tools in their hands. Whether the success of night hunting depends not only on the hunter's own hunting skills, but also largely on the instruments carried by the hunter (such as: thermal search and thermal aiming products). If you use some conventional night vision equipment (such as: night vision goggles, etc.), it is difficult to capture prey. At this time, it is very important to have an advanced thermal imaging product.

1. Application of thermal imagers in the industry

Infrared thermal imagers can be divided into handheld infrared thermal imagers and telescopic infrared thermal imagers based on their functions. The difference between the two lies in the different fields of use. The former is widely used in temperature anomaly detection in industries such as electricity, coal mining, petrochemicals, railways, steel, telecommunications, and scientific research, while the latter is mostly used outdoors and in the military. For example: video surveillance, national defense, hunting, law enforcement, military patrols, etc.

1. Long range of action: General infrared light products have an imaging distance of less than 100 meters. Thermal imagers image the infrared rays radiated by objects, and are not limited by ambient light and lighting light. Generally, telephoto thermal imagers can observe people over 3 kilometers and vehicles over 6 kilometers.

2. Strong concealment: It receives signals completely passively and does not actively transmit detection signals, so it is not easy to be discovered by anti-reconnaissance means.

3. Strong penetration ability: Infrared thermal radiation has a stronger ability to penetrate fog, haze, rain, and snow than visible light, so the imaging effect of the thermal imaging system in bad weather conditions is almost unaffected. In particular, the long-wave thermal imager acting on 17um has a stronger ability to penetrate fog.

4. All-weather working ability: Anti-strong light interference Infrared thermal imagers do not use illumination light and ambient light to produce scene images, but rely on the radiation of the target and background to produce scene images. Therefore, the infrared thermal imaging system can work 24 hours a day and will not be affected by strong visible light like other night vision equipment. Low-light cameras cannot form images without ambient light.

5. Ability to identify hidden targets: Ordinary camouflage is mainly to prevent visible light observation. Generally, criminals usually hide in the grass and woods when committing crimes. Due to the harsh outdoor environment and human visual illusions, it is easy to make wrong judgments. Infrared thermal imaging can detect hidden hot targets through camouflage and grass and leaves. The temperature and infrared radiation of human bodies and vehicles are generally much greater than that of grass and trees. Therefore, they are not easy to camouflage and are not prone to misjudgment.
