1. Single measurement: After power on, the instrument is in single measurement mode by default. Press the READ key to emit the laser and select the measurement point. Press the READ key again and the screen will display the measurement result.

2. Continuous measurement: In the standby mode, press and hold the READ key until the instrument enters the continuous measurement mode. At this time, the auxiliary display area of the screen will display the peak change during the measurement process.

3. Area measurement: Press the key once and a rectangular area will be displayed on the screen. Measure the length and width according to the prompts, and the instrument will automatically calculate and display the area.

4. Volume measurement: Press the key twice to enter the volume measurement mode. Measure the length, width and height according to the prompts, and the instrument will automatically calculate the volume.

5. Pythagorean measurement example 1: Press the relevant button, and the instrument prompts to measure the hypotenuse distance and horizontal distance. The instrument will automatically calculate the vertical distance.

6. Pythagorean measurement example 2: Press the relevant button to measure the hypotenuse distance and horizontal distance. The instrument will automatically calculate the vertical distance between the two hypotenuses.

7. Pythagorean measurement example 3: Press the relevant button to measure the hypotenuse distance and horizontal distance. The instrument will automatically calculate the vertical distance.

8. Triangle area measurement: Press the relevant button and measure the three sides of the triangle according to the prompts. The instrument will automatically calculate and display the area.

9. Benchmark setting: Press the relevant button to select the benchmark position. This helps to make accurate measurements in various environments.

Additional information: To modify the measurement unit, press the 'ON/ADJUST' button so that the internal display is '+'. Aim the center circle at the target to be measured (avoid targets that strongly absorb light, such as glass). Usually set 'MODE' to the standard state, and then continue to press the 'ON/ADJUST' button again for about 3 seconds until the desired measurement unit is reached.

A laser rangefinder is an instrument that uses modulated laser parameters to measure the distance to a target. Depending on the distance measurement method, it can be divided into phase method and pulse method rangefinders. When working, a pulsed laser rangefinder emits a series of short pulsed laser beams to the target, and calculates the distance between the observer and the target by receiving the laser beam reflected by the target and recording the time by the photoelectric element. Phase-based laser rangefinders determine distance by detecting the phase difference between emitted light and reflected light propagating in space. Laser rangefinders are favored for their lightness, compactness, ease of operation, high speed, and high accuracy, and their error is much smaller than other optical rangefinders. Typical phase-based and pulse-based rangefinders are shown in the figure.
