The Day/Night Color Wildlife Infrared Trigger Camera is a device used for wildlife monitoring. It automatically captures color photos or videos during both daytime and nighttime. Its operating principle and product features are as follows:
Operating Principle
Daytime Imaging: During the day, when the ambient light is sufficient, visible light, such as sunlight or lamplight, illuminates objects and reflects light. The camera's image sensor captures this reflected visible light, producing a color image, reproducing the true colors of the scene.
Nighttime Imaging: Some cameras are equipped with a white light. This white light is used for fill illumination at night. The white light emits visible light, which reflects off objects and enters the camera, where the image sensor captures it and outputs a color video. Conventional infrared-triggered cameras typically use infrared light for fill illumination at night. Infrared light has a wavelength beyond the human eye's visible range. The camera receives a single frequency band of infrared light reflected from objects, which cannot be rendered in color and instead appears in black and white after processing. However, some high-end cameras can achieve color imaging at night through special filter switching or image algorithms.
Product Features
High-Resolution Imaging: These cameras typically have a high pixel count, such as the Onick AM-36, which can capture up to 36 megapixels. Video recording also supports a variety of high-definition formats, such as 4K and 1080P, enabling clear capture of wildlife details.
Fast Trigger: The trigger speed is fast, typically completing the capture within 0.2-0.3 seconds. This ensures that recording starts immediately when wildlife enters the monitoring range, ensuring you don't miss any exciting moments.
Wide detection angle, with a built-in detection angle of approximately 120°, allows for coverage of a large area, increasing the probability of capturing wildlife.
Infrared Night Vision: Equipped with infrared light, such as a 940nm infrared LED, it provides excellent night vision. The night vision range is generally around 20-35 meters. Some cameras also feature an automatic infrared filter, automatically switching to infrared shooting mode at night, providing clear night images.
Waterproof and Dustproof Design: With high protection ratings such as IP65 and IP68, it can withstand harsh natural environments such as deserts and rainforests, ensuring the camera's stable operation for extended periods of time in the field. Data Transfer and Storage: Supports multiple data transfer methods, including 4G and WiFi. Photos and videos can be transferred to a mobile phone or cloud platform in real time for easy viewing and management. Large-capacity memory cards, such as SD and TF cards, are supported, with storage capacities up to 512GB or higher.
Other Features: Some cameras also feature GPS positioning, displaying the shooting location on photos. They also offer features like timer and time-lapse photography to meet diverse monitoring needs. Some cameras also support AI-powered animal species identification.
Common Brands and Models: Onick AM-36: Supports up to 36-megapixel HD stills, 1920x1080 HD video, a PIR sensor with a range of 30 meters, 4G image transmission, and cloud-based image processing systems, with features like automatic AI-powered animal species identification. Onick AM-999 WIFI: Supports WiFi and app control, captures 36MP images and 4K video, triggers instantly in 0.2 seconds, has a wide detection angle, features a built-in 120° angle of view, is equipped with 44 LED infrared flashes, and is IP65 waterproof.
Onick AM-68 or AM-66: Captures 36MP images and 4K video, triggers instantly in 0.3 seconds, has a built-in 120° detection angle, connects to a mobile app via 4G wireless network for push notifications, can set scheduled/real-time image uploads, and uses 56 infrared flashes and 940nm infrared LEDs to provide detailed black-and-white night vision images. 4K Dual-LED Infrared Trigger Camera A2: Features 4K video resolution and up to 16-megapixel image resolution.
